I have completely remade my first posted song "Immortal Jellyfish", redoing old and adding new instrument parts as well as remaking the VSQ from scratch. HUGE thanks to Ma'iitsoh Kurai for rendering LUMi for me.
I know it's not the best example of my work, I find the lyrics really dumb lol, but this song is very important to me personally….
I am very happy that I decided to start making songs with Vocaloid, I have been a fan for about 8 years now, but never really saw myself as actually capable of making music for it until a few years ago. I remember super vividly working on and posting the first "Immortal Jellyfish", I was extremely nervous and worried, as it was only the third finished song I ever actually produced. I was 16 and it was a pretty bad summer for me, I remember being very upset with myself and barely talked to anyone, thinking that nobody really cared. I spent my days drawing loads of Vocaloid art and posting it on Vocaloid Amino (its best days probably). This is when I kind of realized that music can be super helpful for me as a way of expressing myself, other than drawing. I mostly felt more free with it because I kept it a secret from everyone I knew irl, therefore I felt like I can rant in it about whatever and never have to deal with people guessing what it's actually about lol. I also made new friends thanks to my music, one of my closest friends now approached me on VA because he liked my music! Also Nonsense apparently also has been following my music since Immortal Jellyfish?? And now she helps me out with mixing and we talk to each other every day UwU It's hard for me approaching people myself and talking to strangers, so I am thankful that stuff I create helped me make friends.
