Normally I try and make something more cheerful for birthday songs, but this time I just really wanted to make something personal… This song is very important to me and I've been working on it for a very long time. This is probably the longest it ever took me to make a song. I came up with the idea all the way back in September, did the character designs and had a super specific vision of what I wanted it look and sound like, so it took me a while to get there. It's quite different from what I've done for previous birthday songs but I'm pretty happy with the result.
Also huge thanks to Nonsense who mixed this song six (or maybe even more) times for me. Her patience with me is truly a gift.
