YATTA I'm so happy to have been able to contribute to this zine! I feel so lucky to have been able to be part of this project and make covers and videos with all these insanely talented people!
The idea behind the zine is to share our love for Chinese vocalsynths from overseas. Being a fan for more than a decade I've seen firsthand how much wonderful variety there is to the community at large, and how language barriers can be bridged through song covers and such. It's so beautiful!
That's exactly why I picked this song - I am not fluent at all in French, but I happened to stumble upon it and it very quickly became one of my favorite vocalsynth songs ever. And there was a whole community I was previously unaware of taking leaps and bounds to be able to make it! French is apparently notorious for being difficult to get right due to tones and such, but thanks to the UTAU French Resources group it's gotten much easier in the recent years! I thought it would be nice to share such an accomplishment with a wider audience and bridge the gap between languages and cultures, even if I am neither French nor Chinese myself haha...
With all that said, there may be mistakes! But I tried my best to share this song with you all, so I hope you enjoy nonetheless :) Please turn on subtitles!
