此短片记录了广州都市土楼及福建庆兴楼的日常生活，也是为了能够探索土楼类型建筑在快速城市发展中在未来的潜力。利用短片的形式，我们尝试演示一个女孩由乡村迁移至城市过程中的体验及想象。庆兴楼建成于1961年。经过8年的建设，及在风水师的不断调整下而形成的。在90年代，有超过100名住户。他们子女往往在城市打工，并带回来现代主义的思维。都市土楼由万科集团管理，在2008年正式对外开放，而现在为500名住户提供住所。它的设计基于对低收入社会群体的研究，并为私营低收入住宅提供范例。次项目由DE.MO./MOVIN’UP PROJECT协助，并由General Direction for landscape, fine arts, architecture and contemporary arts - Ministry for Assets and Cultural Activities 及 GAI – Association of the Circuit of Young Italian Artists 资助。
The video is documenting aspects of the life in Urban Tulou in Guangdong and in Qingxing Lou in Fujian with the goal to explore the possible future developments of this collective typology within the frame of the rapid urbanization that China is facing since the last three decades. By using animation, we tried to retrace the experiences and the dreams of a migrant who moves from the countrysideto the urban environment. Residents begun living in Qingxing Lou in 1961 after 8 years of construction works under the guidance of a fengshui master from Yongding. At its pick, almost one hundred people was living here while in the 90s the younger generations moved out for larger and more modern-equipped housing solutions. The Urban Tulou is managed by the Chinese developer Vanke. Itis opened since summer 2008 and nowadays is hosting more than five hundreds residents. Its design is done on the base ofinvestigations on the current low-income housing conditions and it represents a case of affordable housing in the private sector.
