讲座摘要：In this seminar, Professor Noble will discuss how the emergence of machine learning/AI has been changing medical ultrasound, using examples from her group’s research to highlight some of the technical advances and clinical translational opportunities. A current focus is on developing technologies to make ultrasound devices easy to use, and not just diagnostics, setting the topic apart from other areas of radiological imaging. She will also briefly discuss how the formation of effective inter-disciplinary teams is important to progress this field, and how research is no longer “all about the algorithm”.
