项目状态：开发目前完成95%，正在进行最终的润色、优化和测试，之后将全面发布。

Experience the classic Resident Evil 2 (1998) like never before. This mod completely restyles the original game into a modern remake experience while preserving its authentic 90s atmosphere. Every aspect of the game has been enhanced — from textures and 3D models to sound design, voice acting, music, and environmental details — bringing a fresh layer of realism and immersion to Raccoon City.

The user interface and inventory system have been reimagined in the style of the modern Resident Evil remakes, featuring new menus, and improved readability. In addition, ReShade filters are integrated to enhance lighting, contrast, and color grading, capturing the cinematic horror tone of the newer RE Engine titles.

This is a complete modernization project that transforms the look and feel of the original game while staying faithful to its legacy — a true bridge between the classic and the remake.

Project Status: Development is currently 95% complete, with final polishing, optimization, and testing underway before full release.

PS：具体效果还要等正式版出现，目前看起来似乎除了人物有高清重制，其他的效果似乎没啥变化。不过依旧期待，毕竟快30年的产物还有粉丝去修复制作。
