Stella Hoshii

　　Stella Hoshii 是富家千金、 VA-11 Hall-A 的常客之一。她是一位 Cat Boomer（“猫潮一代”，这里就遵循游戏不翻译了），也是 Sei 的挚友。

　　Stella 身高中等，皮肤白皙，一头醒目的绯色钻头卷发格外惹眼，身着鲜红的皮质连衣裙与黑色的保暖套袖，脖子上佩戴着一条银色的十字架项链。虽说Stella 的胸部看起来朴实无华，但Sei 透露，实际上则是横看成岭侧成峰，玲珑之下波汹涌，而且就连Sei 也摸不透她是怎么裹的这么平平无崎的。不过，Stella最引人注目的还是她的机械右眼以及可爱的猫耳。
　

　个性————　
　　Stella 一身亮眼的红色并没有展现出非常热情外向的性格，反而给人一种高冷的姿态，尤其是在酒吧最开始遇见她，并且Sei不在其旁的时候。但是，她的内心深处是一个善良的姑娘——在Mega圣诞节那天，Stella 给家里的孩子们买了许多礼物庆祝节日。

　　Stella 还用“一贯的”高冷掩盖自己的真情实意，这在Sei经历了阿波罗银行事件①身受重伤时一目了然；这一点也恰恰体现在Stella 常常试图隐藏自己作为*Kira* Miki迷妹的身份，但当她看到Miki签名的杯子时那出人意料的惊喜便足以证明。

　　Stella 对自己的胸围心有所困——觉得有点太大了。。。为了让人们转移注意力，Stella 特意把发型设计成了钻头，好让绅士们更关注别的地方。尽管Stella 巧用妙计让其“大材小用”不惹世事，但她并不打算去做缩胸手术。Sei 曾说过，乳此澎湃的尺寸象征着Stella 和她母亲Carmine女士之间的“羁绊”，Stella 的妈妈对自己的双峰尤感自豪，并以此作为自信的象征。

　背景————
　　Stella 在出生在一个富饶的家庭，但在诞生前就被确诊患有纳米机械排异（Nanomachine Rejection，一种潜伏的致命性疾病）。为此她不得不接受了医生的基因治疗，成为了“Cat Boomer”，而接受治疗的人头上会有一个类似猫耳的突起，也正是这个手术救Stella 了一命，她得以在一切都唾手可得的殷实环境下生活长大成人。

　　Sei 和 Stella 第一次见面，是Stella 要求父亲将她带到一个“真正属于小孩的公园”玩的时候。两人就此结交了深厚的友谊，开始定期在公园一起玩，直到有一天，一个发狂的白骑士在儿童公园劫持她们作为人质。在警察赶来时，那个疯子挖去了 Stella 的右眼。Sei 试图阻止他，却被狠狠踹到一旁，折断了数根肋骨并伤及了内脏，寻即不省人事。　

　　Sei 曾短暂地恢复过意识，看到犯下暴行的白色骑士倒在地上纹丝不动，而另一个人则将Sei 轻轻扛在肩上。这位伸出援手的白骑士为了防止 Stella 的伤口感染，把自己的头盔戴在 Stella 的头上，随后很快将二人送入医院。Sei因伤势严重不得不转入ＩＣＵ病房，之所以后来（疼的）苏醒过来，还是因为Stella泪眼朦胧地捶着Sei 的腿。她们两人最后顺利康复，但 Stella 的右眼不得不换成机械义眼。

　细节————
　　·Stella 的性格很容易使人联想到傲娇二字。就像每次她和Sei互动时，常常就会脸红羞涩（＊／ω＼＊）～不过，她并不像人们通常想象的那样对情感方面会刻意遮遮掩掩，Stella 也多次公开承认自己与Sei的亲密关系。

　　·Stella 的生日是游戏所有人物中月份最晚的，１２.２５日圣诞节。
　
　　·根据Sei的对话我们会得知Stella 是一个生活节俭的女孩，从来不会轻易浪费。在她眼皮子底下，食物是不许随随便便丢入垃圾桶的，如果没人吃的话，Stella 要么会喂给家里的宠物，要么会用来给植物施肥。Sei还提到，和Stella 在一起剥蔬菜水果皮会是一段非常为难的经历——“运气好的话，她只会数落数落你方法不正确。运气不好的时候，她的话匣子就打开了，对你讲上好久果皮里有多少营养，还说让你带皮煮菜什么的。”

　　·根据Sei所说，Stella一家虽是金玉满堂，但生活一向克勤克俭。尽管有时会热衷于某些贵重的东西，可家风依旧简朴。

　　·Stella的姓氏Hoshii在日语中是一个形容词，表示对象想要什么东西。“Hoshi”在日语中是“星星”的意思，Stella在游戏中提到过，这含义让自己的名字就像一个双关语。（“Stella”也有流星的意思）

　　·当Stella还是个孩子时，她相信自己就是原本的圣诞老人灵魂的转世。

　　·Stella患有色盲症，但在游戏中并没有提到（出自waifu的问答blog）。

　　·Stella之所以被叫做Stella阿姨（Auntie Ella），是因为她的慷慨大方。Sei告诉Jill ，她会让员工们把派对上所有剩余的食物带回家，Stella甚至会为员工的孩子买玩具。

　　·Stella的父亲叫做Sirius Hoshii（Sirius同样是星星，为小天狼星），母亲则叫做Carmine（译为胭脂红）。Carmine女士还为Sei的妈妈介绍了很多优秀的客户。

　　·Stella作为*Kira* Miki的死忠粉，她名字中的“Hoshii”和“Miki”组合起来便是《偶像大师》中的角色星井美希（Hoshii Miki）。

阿波罗银行事件————

　　阿波罗信托银行事件————在游戏剧情第三天12.15日时Sei 和Stella 就谈到过阿波罗银行，还有什么哈兵哥先驱者（The Harbingers）的谣言，有人说明天那家银行可能会有大事发生，而Sei 作为白骑士的任务则是向银行经理传递一些上层长官的信息。
　　而就再第二天晚上，新闻便播报了阿波罗信托银行早晨发生过骚乱，已经封锁了全部大门，导致约30人被困其中。在有人尝试从主数据库窃取信息之后，安保系统被正式激活。
　　巧合的是，当天晚上Jamie 也谈到自己的一个合同目标也被困在银行中，他意识到银行会发生什么，因此打算直接把那人扔在那儿不管；侦探Art 所寻找的绯红玫瑰（“Crimson Rose”）也在阿波罗银行；Gil 则是在听到“兔子已经迟了”后即刻动身离开酒吧。

　　后天，也就是游戏剧情第五天的１２.１７日，阿波罗银行事件愈演愈烈，正式升级为恐怖炸弹袭击。街上同样危机四伏。

　　 在游戏剧情第七天１２.１９日，阿波罗银行事件告一段落，满目疮痍的银行再次敞开大门，鲜血淋漓的阴暗面更是被揭露无疑——袭击者的最终目的并不是炸毁银行，而是劫持人质进入银行服务器，获取严加封锁的政府贪污证据、白骑士与犯罪组织同流合污等等数据。

　　Stella Hoshii is the daughter of wealthy parents and a regular customer at VA-11 Hall-A. She is also a Cat Boomer and a long time friend of Sei Asagiri.　

appearance————

　　Stella appears to be an average-sized girl with fair skin and red hair, styled into flashy drills. Although her breasts appear to be fairly average-sized for her height, Sei reveals that they're much larger than they appear, and she has no idea how she hides them so well.

　　Her two most defining traits, however, are her prosthetic right eye and the cat-ear-like protrusions on her head. Her outfit consists of what appears to be a red leather dress and black arm warmers, as well as a golden cross necklace around her neck.

Personality————

　　She often acts in a prideful manner, shown when initially meeting her, and when Sei isn't around. However, she's a kind person at heart, as shown during Mega-Christmas when she buys a large amount of gifts for the children in her family.

　　She also hides her true feelings under her usual haughty demeanor, as evidenced when when Seiwas heavily injured at the Apollo Bank incident. It is also evidenced in a more lighthearted manner when she often tries to hide her status as a fan of *Kira* Miki's music, as shown from her reaction upon seeing *Kira* Miki's signed glass.

　　Stella is self-conscious of her breast size, thinking them too big. To compensate for this, she somehow tucks them in to reduce their apparent size, in addition to adding the "drills" to her hair to distract from her chest. Even though she goes to such measures to hide her chest size, she doesn't want to go through a breast reduction procedure; according to Sei, her bust size represents a connection between Stella and Stella's mother, who is prideful of her chest and shows it off as a sign of confidence.

Background————

　　Conceived by wealthy parents, before Stella was born she was diagnosed with Nanomachine Rejection, a potentially life-threatening disease. As such, she was forced to go through genetic treatment by doctors and become a Cat Boomer, called so because of the cat-ear-like protrusions which appear on the heads of those who receive treatment. She did survive because of this, and thus grew up in a rich environment where she received anything she asked for.   

　　At age 5 she asked her father Sirius to take her to a "real kids park", where she met her soon to be best friend, Sei. The two formed a close bond and began to meet at the park regularly, until one day while they were there, a rogue White Knight took them hostage, on the run for undisclosed reasons. After being approached by the authorities, he began to gouge Stella's eye out and kicked Sei in the chest after she attempted to stop him, breaking several of her ribs and rupturing her organs, as well as knocking her out.

　　Afterwards, Sei briefly regained consciousness to see the White Knight on the ground, not moving, whilst another had her slumped over his shoulder. He put his helmet over Stella's head and the two were quickly taken to the hospital. Sei was placed into emergency care due to the severity of her injuries and only woke up after Stella began punching her leg, telling her to do so. The two of them recovered eventually, but Stella's right eye had to be removed and replaced with a prosthetic one.

Trivia————

• Stella's personality is somewhat reminiscent of a Tsundere archetype, often gets flustered and blushes whenever complemented by Sei for instance; however, she isn't one to hide her feelings as is typical of the stereotype, openly admitting her closeness to the former on several occasions.

• Stella has the latest birthday of all the characters in VA-11 Hall-A.

• According to Sei, Stella is a bit obsessive about making sure things don't go to waste. No food goes to the trash bin under her watch. She always gives it to her pets, or makes fertilizer out of it if no one else is gonna eat it. Sei comments that it can get annoying when you try to peel a vegetable or fruit near Stella. "At best, she scolds you for not doing it right. At worst, she rambles about the nutrients in the skin and makes you cook it without peeling it."

• According to Sei, Stella's family is down to earth despite being rich. They do indulge in expensive things from time to time, but they're pretty simple people.

• Stella's family name, Hoshii, is an adjective in Japanese that denotes that the subject wants something. 'Hoshi' is the Japanese for 'star', making Stella's name close to a pun, which is mentioned by Stella in-game.

• When she was a kid, Stella believed that she was the reincarnation of the original Santa Claus, because she was born on Christmas.

• Stella is color blind, though it is not mentioned in game.

• She's called Auntie Stella due to her generosity, evident by when Jill is told by Sei that she will let the staff take home whatever leftover food is available at the party and that Stella even buys toys for the children of her staff members.

• If Art doesn't run into Stella on Day 7, he'll mention that her name "Stella" isn't a common name.

• Stella isn't particularly fond of Bloom Light because it tastes "like sand" to her.

• Her dad's name is Sirius Hoshii (his first name meaning a star) and her mom's name is Carmine (which isn't). Carmine also got Sei's mother some really good clients at the veterinarian.
