注： 象牙华丽雨林有高地种和低地种的区分，过去低地种的学名是用Poecilotheria bara，而高地种则是Poecilotheria subfusca。 但最新研究认为Poecilotheria bara是同物异名，故将其无效，仅保留Poecilotheria subfusca。
但高地低地的外型确实有差异，因此目前使用: 低地种Poecilotheria subfusca(lowland)、高地种Poecilotheria subfusca(highland)，这样的标示方式会比较适合。

1.Poecilotheria fasciata 斯里兰卡华丽雨林
斯里兰卡华丽雨林(Poecilotheria fasciata)腿节上是一条近乎消失的线(比较像是碎斑围成的线)
2.塞勒姆华丽雨林/沙连华丽雨林
沙连华丽雨林(Poecilotheria formosa) 第4步足腿节为全白的。

背甲的部分，沙连华丽雨林(Poecilotheria formosa) 中间的白纹像是双叉戟。(公成看不出来)
3.Poecilotheria hanumavilasumica 降落伞华丽雨林
降落伞华丽雨林(Poecilotheria hanumavilasumica)腿节上是一条细线
4.Poecilotheria metallica 蓝宝石华丽雨林
很好区分，不做过多赘述。
5.Poecilotheria miranda 米兰达华丽雨林/四斑华丽雨林
他是唯一一个膝节全白的物种，直接看图片比对比较好懂。
6.Poecilotheria ornata 花边华丽雨林
花边是偏黄和绿+黑和紫。另一点是正面脚纹的部分，其他poe是环状的斑纹，而花边是小碎斑。
7.Poecilotheria rajae
(左)P.rajaei，(右)印度
8.Poecilotheria regalis 印度华丽雨林
印度和rajaei在腹部腹面的部份，有一条很明显的白条。左为其他Poe，右为印度和rajaei特征
9.Poecilotheria rufilata 石板红华丽雨林

迈索尔华丽雨林(Poecilotheria striata)腿节上是一条稍粗的线，与降落伞极为相似。
13.Poecilotheria subfusca 象牙华丽雨林（高地&低地）
腹部花纹：(左)断掉的是低地，(右)完整的是高地；高地较小(15-16cm)、低地较大(18-20cm)
14.Poecilotheria tigrinawesseli 卫索华丽雨林
(左)有黑斑的为卫索，(右)全白的为沙连。卫索第4步足腿节白色上有一圈黑斑。
卫索华丽雨林背甲是像…钉子?? (公成看不出来)
15.Poecilotheria vittata （旧pederseni）彼得逊华丽雨林
腿节倒三角加上一条底线的彼德逊华丽雨林(Poecilotheria vittata)，背甲双叉。
