①    interested & interesting   adj.感兴趣的 & adj.有趣的

②    boring & bored          adj.无聊的，无趣的

③    excited & exciting        adj.兴奋的，激动的

④    amused & amusing       adj.有趣的，好笑的

ed后缀的形容词通常表示人的感受和情绪，所以修饰的是句子中的主语-人；ing后缀的形容词通常形容某事物，所以一般修饰的是句子中的名词。

①    interested & interesting

 interested形容词为感兴趣的，和介词“in”连用表示某人对某事物感兴趣：

*She is interested in clothes. 她对服装感兴趣。（interested指主语she）

如果interested后面跟动作，与介词“to”连用：

*I would be very interested to hear your opinion.我非常想听听你的意见。（interested指主语I)

Interesting 指某事物是有趣的：

*An interesting question. 一个有趣的问题。（指名词question）

②    boring & bored

 bored 形容人的感受，某人感到无聊或者某事物人感到无聊用bored:

*I am so bored. 我好无聊啊。（指主语I）

*I am bored with my job. 我对我的工作感到厌倦。（指主语I）

boring则指代某人事物是无聊无趣的：

*I am so boring. 我是一个无聊的人。

③ excited & exciting

Excited形容人的感受、情绪，兴奋的，激动的，主语一般是人：

*I am so excited that we are going to New York.（指主语I）

Exciting 表示某事物是让人兴奋的，激动的，一般修饰物：

*I got some very exciting news for you. 我给你带来了一些很令人激动的消息。（指名词news）

*I find my job very exciting. 我觉得我的工作很刺激。（指名词job）

                                              ④ amused & amusing

amused 被逗乐的，感到有趣的：

*The man looked a little amused. 那个男人看上去被逗乐了。（指主语man）

amusing 好笑的，有趣的，逗人发笑的

*The book is full of amusing stories. 书里有很多有趣的故事。（指名词stories）
