经济金融保险基础（10%）
五大职位的专业科目考试试卷中，经济金融基础知识为必考内容，题型为单选题，题量20道，分值10分，占总卷面分值的10%。该模块知识难度一般，考试内容涉及西方经济学、货币银行学、国际金融、商业银行经营管理、金融监管、保险学等。

综合专业知识（80%）
金融监管局综合类考试侧重考查与金融监管相关的经济金融保险知识和统计学、管理学、新闻文秘等学科知识。
银监会成立至金管局成立，先后经历银监会、银保监会、金融监督管理总局三个时期，因此笔试的考试科目也随着工作职责的转变进行了一定的调整。
第一、经济金融的考题逐步向财经类考试靠拢，从开始仅考查常规、基础的的宏微观经济学、宏微观金融学内容，逐渐增加了一些与财经类相近的知识考点。
第二、统计学无论是题目数量还是考试难度基本上保持一致，每年出题约在15~20题左右（单选题15题，多选题5题），2024年题目数量仅有13题，但2025年招考时，大概率会提高至15题以上。从难度上来说，统计学考查的内容覆盖了应用统计学中统计基础概念、时间序列、概率分布、参数估计、回归序列、统计图表、统计调查等部分，难度不高。
第三、管理学近几年题目的数量出现了非常大的变化，在2023年前，每年命题约为10~12题左右（单选7题，多选3题），2023年仅为7题，2024年又调整为了12题。从难度上来看，既会考查管理学的计划、组织、领导、控制、创新等知识，也会考查市场营销、工商管理相关知识，难度虽然不大，但涉及面相对较广。
英语（10%）
金管局主要以阅读理解题的形式考查，题目为客观选择题。一般包括1篇300字左右的阅读理解（2023年以前一般至少2道300字左右）、3篇400字以上的阅读理解，每篇配以5道单项选择题，共20题，每题0.5分，计10分。 英语阅读部分的内容以经济类为主，科技类次之，各类话题内容都较新，与时代发展趋势紧密结合，经济类元素在阅读中出现的频率呈逐年上升的趋势。在考题题型设置上，涉及了细节理解题、主旨大意题、语义指代题、判断推理题和观点态度题，纵观近几年的金融监督管理局英语真题，细节题目出现的频率较高，主旨题和判断题次之，建议考生着重从这几个题型入手多加钻研和练习。第一篇真题阅读的字数一般为300字左右，文章长度和难度随着阅读推进增长，第一篇文章一般都较简单，越往后越难。长难词汇按年份亦有递增的趋势。虽然考试难度介于大学英语四级和六级之间，但是考生在复习过程中，除了参考四级和六级的考纲之外，还得增加一些经济、金融类的词汇和阅读储备。
