Targetting-Webs are pieces of advanced Imperium technology that are being field tested by squadrons of the Mentors Chapter. When activated, a single Space Marine will be able to transmit targeting data to his entire squadron; which will allow all of them to fire upon the same target at once. In order to make use of it though, a Space Marine must be equipped with a series of neural implants, helmet modifications and modified Bolters. However, every Mentor equipped with the Targetting-Web must be exhaustively trained in its use and many testers are unable to cope with the mental strain of the implants making them unsuitable users. Furthermore, the equipment is still extremely rare, having only been recently developed, and is therefore unlikely to enter service with other Chapters.
