Global businesses are actively embracing Industry 4.0 and digital transformation. Simultaneously, the education sector is leveraging digital tools to foster personalized learning and equity. Universities transcending borders and students becoming increasingly global have opened new frontiers through the use of artificial intelligence (AI)-based tools in education. Since the role of AI is inevitable in future education, current research aims to identify the level of awareness of faculty members on the applicability and adoption of artificial intelligence. The study also intended to discover how AI enhanced their learning experience and impacted the degree of work engagement of teachers in higher education. A cluster and multi-stage sampling method was employed to select 250 faculty members from QS (Quacquarelli Symonds) ranked institutions operating in hybrid education modes. Utilizing a quantitative research approach and a structural equation model, factors influencing AI adoption in this context were explored. The findings revealed that AI implementation led to the evolution of robust evaluation and assessment methods, resulting in heightened faculty engagement levels. The study identified that perceived risk, performance expectancy, and awareness play significant roles in influencing work engagement and the adoption of AI within the higher education system through mediating variables, specifically attitude, and behavior.

This paper proposes the adoption of AI technologies in higher education to support student learning. Using multi-modal blended learning theory and independent learning fundamental theory, the study explores the use of AI to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of blended teaching in college English courses. A new model of deep learning and a learning model of human job functions are proposed to explore the hybridization of college English education under the background of artificial intelligence. This study provides a road map for using AI in college-level English courses and offers valuable contributions to the field, including the proposed models of deep learning and human job functions which can be applied to other subjects and fields. By leveraging modern technologies such as cloud computing, big data, and AI. This study highlights the potential for educators to transform the way we teach and learn and improve the quality of education and support student success. Overall, this paper provides valuable insights for future research in the intersection of AI and education and emphasizes the importance of integrating technology in higher education to enhance the learning experience and meet the needs of modern students.

This study aims to explore the impact of digital drawing software on specific artistic skills and behavioral intentions in art education. Using a mixed-method approach that combines quantitative surveys and qualitative case analyses, the research examines how digital drawing software shapes students’ behavioral intentions and enhances specific artistic skills, including composition, color application, and detail rendering. The findings reveal that intrinsic motivational factors, such as perceived enjoyment, self-efficacy, and positive attitudes, are key drivers influencing students’ behavioral intentions to use digital drawing software, while extrinsic factors like perceived usefulness and ease of use have comparatively less influence. Furthermore, a 19-week Intervention Design and Implementation (IDI) confirms the positive role of systematic guidance and training in significantly improving students’ perceived enjoyment, self-efficacy, effort expectancy, and behavioral intentions. The results underscore the pivotal role of targeted interventions in fostering not only skill acquisition but also sustained engagement with digital tools, which is critical for modernizing art education. These findings provide empirical evidence for integrating digital tools in art education, highlighting the importance of fostering intrinsic motivation to enhance students’ artistic skill development and technology adoption. This research offers valuable strategies and directions for the digital transformation of art education.
